THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT: NOVEMBER 2004

Dear Colleague,

This mailing is intended to alert you that the deadline for hotel reservation at the Sheraton and Westin Hotels for the 2004 Texas Symposium at Stanford at the special conference rates has been extended by a week to November 18. The price of the conference hotel rooms will significantly increase after that date. We have also extended the early registration payment date to Monday, November 15. After November 15 the registration fee will increase to $400. See what has been added for Special Events http://texasatstanford.slac.stanford.edu/Special_Events.htm

We also note that the detailed program for the plenary and parallel sessions, as well as the list of accepted poster presentations, is available at the conference Web site http://texasatstanford.slac.stanford.edu/default.htm

In summary, each poster has been assigned an ID no. and those starting with "1" - generally covering cosmology, gravitation, and active galactic nuclei - have been scheduled for Monday morning through Wednesday lunchtime. These starting with "2" - covering high energy astrophysics - are scheduled to be presented Wednesday afternoon through Friday.
Within each session, we made an attempt to group the posters by similar topics.

SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT: OCTOBER 2004

Dear Colleague,

As you probably already know, the 22nd Texas Symposium on Relativistic Astrophysics will take place at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, on December 13-17, 2004. It will cover the latest developments in cosmology and high energy astrophysics while focusing on the frontiers between these and gravitation and particle physics. The conference Web site: http://texasatstanford.slac.stanford.edu/ has the information about the meeting, including the current version of the program, including the preliminary information about the parallel sessions on Wed. afternoon.

We remind you that the abstract submission deadline is October 15, 2004, so if you are planning to present a paper, we urge you to register and submit your abstract soon via the Web site; you should mark whether your presentation generally relates more closely to high energy astrophysics, or to cosmology.  If you are not planning to present a paper, the early registration deadline has been extended to November 1, 2004, but the hotel booking deadline is still November 12, 2004. Should you have any questions, please write Ms. Maura Chatwell, the conference coordinator at SLAC at maura@SLAC.Stanford.EDU

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: DECEMBER 2003

Dear Colleague,

The 22nd Texas Symposium on Relativistic Astrophysics will take place at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, on December 13-17, 2004. In keeping with the past tradition, the talks will span recent developments in cosmology and high energy astrophysics while focusing on the frontiers between these and gravitation and particle physics.

A Web site with the information about the meeting is at http://texasatstanford.slac.stanford.edu/. There you will find details about the meeting, including registration, abstract submission, and local information. Note that we have secured accommodations at attractive prices, unusually low for the Bay area. On the Web site we also include visa information. Please be mindful that the visa process might take longer than it has in the past.

Please note that the abstract and early registration deadlines are October 15, 2004. Should you have any questions, please write Ms. Maura Chatwell, the conference coordinator at SLAC at maura@SLAC.Stanford.EDU.

We apologize if you are receiving this information more than once, but we are using a number of mailing lists to inform a cross-disciplinary potential audience about this meeting.
